castlevania games on DS are bad ass
more like RPGs, but strictly platformer type slashers
and this "new" style of castlevania goes back to titles on the GBA even!
i think there may be a total of 6 of these titles, 3 on DS and 3 on GBA
the one im playing on DS now is cool as shit. its not hard, not yet atleast, hard is so boring. they are not like the classic castlevania titles on NES, TG CD (dracula x) or PS1 in the least sense. the upgrades and gear are cool as shit on the DS too, with crafting and monster essence type shits
best thing are the pixel graphics, they are like some of those cool ass amiga rpgs, but with modern sprites and effects an shit
it all looks amazing on the DSi XL screens
such as awesome system!
