I've been trying to think of movies that fit your adventure and suspense criteria. You have a point. It's hard to come up with any.

I guess you could count Lawrence of Arabia if you focus on the scenes with General Allenby and Mr. Dryden. Suspense movies tend to have upper-class English characters only incidentally; they mostly feature Americans and Europeans. However, the English exchanged by characters like Victor Laszlow and Major Strasser in Casablanca is very hoity-toity. Same thing with the dialogue between Charles Boyer and Ingrid Bergman in Gaslight.
