RE: How's Elex?
If you like games like Gothic and Risen you will like Elex.
Lots of politics going on with the story and its one of those games that try to make your choices effect the outcome. However, the choices only really effect how the factions treat you.
Pro tip:just before you choose one of the 3 factions to join save a game so you can go back later and try the other 2 factions if you want without having to do a ton of shit over again.
Warning, when you join a faction a bunch of quests for the other factions become broken or disappear(one of the choices that effect the game, lol)
3 major factions are:
Clerics:Laser type weapons and magic
Outlaws:GUNZ
Beserkers:Melee and magic
The game will push you toward the Beserkers but you are free to choose whichever.
Combat is cool, there is a lot of dialog. Story is somewhat interesting. Got the basics, alchemy, crafting...etc
