Dude, you got a Gateway-branded ELOO
EROO?
Maintaining my cheapness when it comes to purchasing, well, almost everything, I bought a 14" Gateway laptop which apparently is now a Wally World special brand to replace my 11" Dell Chromebook that was running some Linux distro optimized for such machines. It was probably the only Dell laptop I've ever liked, but the low power Atom CPU and 4 gigs of ram were no longer cutting it. Apparently I missed out on some great deals prior to everyone gobbling up laptops so they could work from home. Anyways, I initially ordered some 14" Lenovo with a Ryzen 3500 and 8GB/256GB but cancelled it as soon as I saw the Gateway for like $40 more with an i5 16GB/256GB and a few other compelling features. Not bad for $475. Will the ELOO hold up? Who knows, but at the very least I can't say I've ever broke an electronic device due to mishandling. Truth be told, I only bought it for the cow box.
