the blades UI is a full screen system menu, just like the original... motherfucking fucking nostalgia nuke
and trust me when i say the title based software of the movie is unique, its not done cheaply, though its nothing amazing but it does look good and is unique.
i think i may know how to avoid disc rot too, im going to try it out.
already have a new unopened copy of a movie arriving in the mail soon, it certainly is a faulty warner title, but i believe the damage may occur only when bending the disc to remove it from the case, which is stuck in there pretty nicely.
so if i take a totally new unopened movie, then remove it in such a way where it does not cause the disc to bend at all, then it will probably work.. of course i would have to try this on more than several titles and receive consistent results, but lets see where this first title takes me.
its definitely beyond the age of its supposed expiration, but there is a good chance the corruption is solely from micro fractures due to disc bend
