If you want nig bass then just get Logitech computer speakers. Their setup is designed purely for retards that think they should listen with anything but their ears.
You really don't need a subwoofer unless you have something like floor standing speakers and a more powerful amplifier to compliment it. If you're using a 20watt amp and drown it out with a separate subwoofer for some reason, it'll sound like shit. This is why you don't see a subwoofer out channel on desk amps like that.
A DAC is only needed if you are getting a bunch of electrical interference. This mostly happens when you have all your electronics plugged into the same circuit like an idiot and it turns all your ground wires into a giant radio antenna.
