Subject: Une génération perdue

I was thinking of a diorama featuring one of the Montparnasse cafés of the post-WWI era. However, instead of American and Brit ex-patriots, I wanted to use Japanese kaiju. Godzilla would, of course, stand in for Hemingway. Mothra, Hedorah, Rodan, etc. would be F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ford Madox Ford, Gertrude Stein, etc. Naturally, they would be much reduced in size so they could fit in appropriate rumpled clothing. They would also have proper fingers for lifting coffee cups and so on.

I don't know why no one has done this before. I suspect the hardest part would be making scale table cloths.
