well, they are not veiny, but sickly discolored.
the stretching effects the coloration, stretching it thin like a gradient. where the colorless portion which meets the stem is stretched to cover about half the grape as opposed to its natural 15%
ah, i know what it looks like... how to bettert describe it..
it looks like a swollen wound which has been pumped with venom. like on a human hand, how once looked normal and now is plump where defined features such as the fingers lose definition in the swollen mass and how the skin is stretched out over it also losing its texture...
that is exactly what these grapes look like
