what are the actual psychical historical sources of his existence?
who is to say that rome didnt invent the paper and the canvas? i dont know who did but the gap between roman empire to dark ages to renessance is actually not large at all, technology wise. who is to say these sources of da vinci couldn't actually be ancient, but kept well preserved, easily in the custody of some royal or religious palace, eh?
