most of the "equipment" that1gay is referring to are fucking solder tips. they make the world of difference. and its only one tip which is used for almost everything, even fine work even though it may seem too large for it.
that tip is the angled flat head, the one which kind of looks like a short exacto knife.
of course you need a good source of heat, like temperature controlled jewish oven, so any haiko nip station or whatever they are called would dd it. but you can honestly cheap out here too, any china thing will work as long as it decent reviews. 4 star is good enough
