Subject: RE: My 3DS is having issues

I never used tweezers, but I generally try to avoid smd passives when possible, but even if, using a standard iron isn't too bad.

The unit I got was:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PBYT16N/

It was $10 cheaper then, but I don't recall it being a claimed 75W either. Having a decent assortment of tips is nice, though I think they're actually Hakko T12-type tips and not T13. Not sure, but I haven't had to replace them yet anyway. It's listed as FEITA, but it's actually a Bakon 950, which it even said on the box. I know it looks kind of cheesy, but since it uses an SMPS, it doesn't have to be large. I actually like that it's quite compact. Why make it bulky for no reason? The active components are surprisingly name brand parts which is nice, but the electrolytic caps are chinese, of course. Honestly, I would say it's well worth it at $50. For less than $30? Absolutely.

I'm assuming https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BQYLRVB
and
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086WB9HM4
are the same minus the tips.

I actually wanted a pencil with a short iron tip to finger grip length like the JBC and Pace irons, but the included one has been satisfactory. I will probably eventually buy a different pencil that takes T13 tips. They're available online for cheap.
