Bitcoining is still a problem, but the new thing is amassing enough money to buy out a hot item, then putting up a store on Ebay or Amazon and selling the item at three times its worth. Nobody can legitimately buy the item because scalpers are using bots. Well, that's probably not true. Normal people have started using bots, so the only thing anyone really knows is that inventories are replenished one second and vaporized the next.
