I should have stayed unemployed. Instead, I got a job which I can't do remotely, and there's a chaotic end of year push to meet a schedule which was likely drawn up a year ago. Pandemic and parts shortages be damned. I'm sure upper management will pat themselves on the back for a job well done and offer themselves a nice bonus. The rest of us might get a catered lunch, but probably not because of COVID concerns, even though many of us are working nuts to butts anyway. I'm totally not bitter. What makes you think that?
