The only reason that looks good is because you can actually see the screen. In real life, you're going to be sitting on your couch, leaning towards the light to actually try and make out what the fuck is happening.
Though, you can actually backlight those screens, but it means taking them completely apart, layer by layer and trying to get them back together without destroying them.
