RE: State of graphics cards indefinitely
I recently read a headline where some investors are trying to get intel to outsource at least some (or more?) of their chip manufacturing. Given that, AFAIK, TSMC is the only other fab house (but maybe Samsung too) that has cutting edge mfg nodes, that would make the situation even worse for everybody. Coincidentally, a handful of the big IC companies have been begging the gov to invest in domestic capabilities, because apparently all these multi-billion dollar corporations are too poor to invest in it themselves.
