...i just want to speak about how OP the mage is
apparently you are expected to dual class in this game. well i suppose its possible, the level cap is 40. at first it didnt seem enough because i thought it was at 30. but i suppose it is.
dual class mage and warrior would easily be the most op build. in fact its grossly overkill because of how op the mage already is. so possibly dual classing with the assasin type class would be worth looking into just in case there are any skills which would contrubute to your mage dps or even out class it with faeblades or something.
the mage does so much damage, and doesnt need defense because of it. from just a few levels, i believe around level 5 or 6, you already have enough to just stunlock mobs and obliterate them with group fire.
but not only the spells are way overpowered than any weapons you get (at least at this point, not sure what endgame stats of weapons are yet) but the mage also gets the best non-spell weapon in the game, which are the chankras. which are a ranged melee weapon with both physical and elemental damage but also multihit and hit anything along its path kind of like dual boomerangs. of course other melee weapons do much more base damage than the chankras, but they all have much slower attack speed, are not ranged and only hit once per swing on default attack... some melee skills can multihit but only when you charge the weapon or use a skill on cooldown, which is totally impractical in this game.
