faeblades, which are an assasin weapon are supposed to be the second best weapons in the game.. but ive found and tried some pretty neat rare ones and have not been impressed at all... the second best melee weapons in the game all seem to belong to the warrior type class
but strangely enough, the 2nd and 3rd best overall weapons in the game also belong to mage, being the staff, which is a strong short ranged spell caster weapon, and the stave, which is a fast long range gun type weapon, and is much better than the bow
best skills are lockpicking, persuasion and despelling - in that order, a few others are relevant too but not early on. and many skills are totally irrelevant.
best char to pick on a new game is the one with lockpick bonus because of this.. and the best god or whatever its called to pick is whatever games you a mana or mage type bonus
