Subject: RE: Ice Cube film glossary

A note should be added that the meanings of "yo" elucidated above are not to be confused with Ice-T's appropriation of "yo yo." The latter is used exclusively as a greeting, especially to encourage familiarity prior to selling something.

Examples:

"Yo yo, this is your boy Ice-T givin' you the low-diddly on CarShield."

or

"Yo yo, I'm a crime stopper on TV, but my homeys at CarShield are puttin' the beatdown on criminal repair prices."

To my knowledge, Ice Cube does not use this double yo.
