so apparently coal gas was all the stuff being ran during the time of all those golden age hollywood films
10% carbon monoxide...
...thats insane
cannot believe this actually existed.
this is also a key part of understanding that history too. those old days.
there is a scene is this movie im watching, where this wife is going through very strong hardships with her husband, and the scene is of her looking at the oven in some fancy way if you know what i mean. the scene had little meaning to me, though it was enough to understand that she may have been contimplating suicide. that was enough for me to research the whole oven suicide thing.
very interesting. of course it made no sense because i assumed they were natural gas
