Sure, I get it, mac. A dame I went out with called it life imitating art. See, ya got certain situations where the thing you was pretending to be turns out to be the thing you become. I knew a guy in Joliet who played a violinist in one of the prison revues they put on there. Sure enough, when he got out, he went to sign up with the local orchestra. They turned him down, of course, so he robbed a drug store. He wound up back in stir, but the experience taught him a valuable lesson: don't let the pharmacist use the phone while you're robbing him. I guess that's not a great example of life imitating art, but who cares. That dame was screwy. Good riddance.
