RE: movies today
edward g robinson plays much better as a timid person. specifically as a timid but repressed brooding artist. not feeling all his gangster roles at all, even though i did enjoy little caesar. that was a pretty decent film.
but the best role ive yet to see is him is in scarlett street.
ive seen plenty of his films now and havent caught him in anything better than that film. i feel that was his best performance
