He's very good when playing a timid or cultured type. My favorite Robinson roles, however, are Lancey Howard in The Cincinatti Kid (otherwise a terrible Hustler wannabe movie) and Theo Wilkins in Seven Thieves.
Also, of course, Barton Keyes in Double Indemnity.
