of course its very easy to understand religion in this day and age.
how its something for common type people, to put it politely,
but again, religion was so large back then, that it even made its way through elite ranks of society.
though i would definitely not consider most of the wealthy class to be religious at all
i dont exactly see it as improper to direct society away from religion either. if anything, it likely dignifies them, indirectly
