I always liked Diana Muldaur. DeForest Kelley was mainly cast in westerns prior to Star Trek. He's especially good as a quasi bad guy in
Warlock
. I don't know the extent to which he held up Star Trek. I do know that the show was basically a three-legged stool, and he was one of the legs.
