I just saw season 8 of Game of Thrones
Why was everyone so upset over this? The first two episodes were crappy, but after that, everything was great. With the exception of Bran being voted ruler of the Six Kingdoms (which I predicted), the final episode was wonderful. Who didn't see the death of Dany coming? Did they really expect Jon Snow to sit on the Iron Throne? The dragon correctly melted it instead of melting Jon. Tywin Lannister was Iron Throne material. Jon Snow was not. Entirely appropriate.
The whole tracking thing with the survivors at the very end was spectacular, as were the Pompeii-like aftermath scenes of King's Landing in Episode 5.
I'm completely serious. It was a great ending season. I don't see the problem.
