RE: we need to talk about dick tracy
Dick Tracy was great, but I still don't fully understand the qualifications for being a part of the mob or Big Boy Caprice's clique. I'd say 90% of the villains had some sort of horrifying physical deformity which tells me he either:
A.) specifically sought out these freakish anomalies to recruit them, or
B.) enlisted normal criminals but then physically tortured them until they were permanently mutilated.
You have to wonder if they would have even turned to crime if the city had more of a physical rehabilitation programs or treatment centers. Which basically makes Dick Tracy the real monster of the movie for harassing the differently abled.
