RE: we need to talk about dick tracy
when i was a kid i used to think flat top was really cool. not the one from the movie, but the one from, gosh i dont remember what media he was from.
but the one from the movie was done especially well too, they picked the right actor and everything.
i cant think of many movie characters done this well, especially in the comic movie genre. (dick tracy was actually a comic)
of course tracy was always the star of my childhood admiration, his watch is really cool, but flat top was different.
also, back in the 80s and 90s, flat top was also a popular hair style among blacks, not just any blacks but really cool blacks, and it was like flat top was the leader of all blacks... well no not really, but he was cooler in his own way which had nothing to do with any blacks
