RE: Good lineup on TCM today
They do seem more limited than they used to be. Too many B and C 1930s movies that have obviously passed out of copyright. Too many multicultural and "awareness" things. Ben Mankiewicz seems to do nothing but read a teleprompter with information grabbed from Wikipedia. He adds nothing and somehow has the lead host job. I hope he isn't signing off on their inventory. (The other hosts are pretty knowledgeable, especially Alicia Malone and Eddie Muller. Dave Karger and Jacqueline Stewart are decent but appear to be thrown in to represent gays and black consciousness.
It's still good, but they should show more noir and add a better variety of real classics.
