I saw The Great Race a long time ago and again recently. Jack Lemmon and Natalie Wood were great as always. Tony Curtis . . . yawn. Arthur O'Connell and Keenan Wynn = huge loss of points. Also, the movie tried too hard to be funny, imo, like a little kid screaming at you to watch him do cartwheels. I admire what they tried to do, but it went on too long. They turned a Three Stooges short into a biblical epic -- maybe not such a good idea. Same with It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
