Subject: RE: Identifying film noir

Well, if you search for pictures of Bigfoot, the majority of them are going to be in black and white so yes Bigfoot is noir, this tells us two things: That Bigfoot is in black and white and comes from the 1940s, back when color hadn't been invented yet; and that any color photo *must* be a fake.

Then there's the whole "Is Bigfoot actually real?" thing, which I could see someone like Sam Spade investigating and finding out that Bigfoot is actually part of a city-wide drug smuggling ring, and that he has murdered Mothman and the Chupacabra, who have flown in from Jersey, as revenge over a 9,000,000 dollar debt. Spade looks on and mulls: "Was I afraid? No, that's cemetery talk. I may be buried along with a mile-long trail of dead Cryptids but one thing is for sure: I ain't dead yet."
