yeah ida lupino is not my most preferred actress, but she puts on a very respectable performance as a singer. its a little more of an overall package for her rather than just the quality of her voice.
the highlighted user review on imdb for "the man i love" is spot on and basically attributes the whole movie to this scene. at least thats what i made of it. come to think of it i dont really read those things. but i can tell you the movie was worth a download
