RE: I suppose I should finish DOOM Eternal
... the jumping is just a mod of a single value, the "jump" strength. whatever its called.
yes it looks a bit silly but it works really good in actual gameplay. the videes are more of a showcase of setting, and dont properry show how jumping actually fucking works in an intense battle vs. 50 hardcore dudes gunning for you. but anyway think of it as canon. original fallout games had cybornetic implants but they were such a hardcore and fringe aspect of the game, very hard to get.
if u notice my char wearing a synth helmet it kind of makes sense. jump implants.
the jump height is actually perfect. it allows you to pretty much use the urban terrain how you see fit. this game is equal parts fantasy and realism. the alternative was a craftable jetpack which can be worn without power armor. i still kept that to. so there is both jumping and jetpack.
but anyway the problems with the game are typical bethesda shits.
raiders and literally everything else minus only a handful of npc and monsters do not scale paste like level 10 or someshit for the raiders, and level 25 for most other things. its such a dumb thing. plus super mutant retardation. they sound like shit for children.
plus the developers seem to have done everything they can to prevent you from playing a proper survival game where everything is obtained through crafting. rather than picking up npc litter.
i cannot edit levl lists and npc and merchant inventory. these simple things would change so much and nobody has the sense to do them. its pretty sad.
my mods are like only percentage of what needs to be done rather than a complete thing.
enemies need proper scaling and gear to match. all the way to level 100 and maybe beyond. and they also need their inventory items to either not be lootable or not be usable by the player. i believe the latter is the most easy option.
