In Very Hard skill, a fully modded two-shot gauss rifle in combination with appropriate maxed perks for a stealth/rifle pc should take no more than two normal shots in stealth to kill a mythic deathclaw -- a critical should be a one-shot.
But let us imagine that this character breaks stealth and gets charged by the same deathclaw. Before it gets close, the maxed automatic assault rifle should chew it to a tasty mash.
But you must dress appropriately in a newsboy cap and cool authority shades.
