RE: les miserables
the 1934 version is the very first to be an actual movie with sound.
and its by far the best one. its not even a musical. its a drama!
the damn thing is old too. first impressions were that the film was good but a couple of parts were strange. like some scenes with high drama would go on for too long. like to much emphasis on it. the acting itself was not annoying though. the second and third parts of the film drop the weird shit. the film is like twice the length of gone with the wind. it comes in three parts just incase you dont know. each part is like a full length film..
so damn good!!
