Conceptually, technically, practically, and in every other respect, Blood 2 was, and remains, a stain on the great carpet of interactive entertainment. It is the aborted love child of Jay Wilson and Cthulhu. Once seen, it is seen forever and can never be unseen.
Well do I remember the terrible shame of that launch. It was only with the greatest agony and sacrifice that any Bloodite survived the atrocities perpetrated by Planet Half-Life. I (perhaps foolishly) favored a diplomatic solution, but had not certain brave heroes of this forum met those onslaughts with just reprisals, your children's children would have grown up in a world with no memory of hitscanning cultists or walking fish creatures.
Blood 2 is still a mess, though.
