RE: Outer Worlds impressions so far
Outer Worlds has the weirdest leveling system of any game ever. The base game has a cap of 30. The two DLC's bring this up to 36. The problem is that you reach 36 before you finish the first DLC, and you need to play the DLCs
before
finishing the base game.
So I still have the second DLC and the remainder of the base game to complete, and I will never level again. I'll probably go on because I enjoyed Peril on Gorgon and have every reason to believe I'll like Murder on Eriadnos even more. But I will remain a stunted aberration of a character, never acquiring a single additional experience point.
The world I'm thinking of here is "broken."
