You could remove all the story exposition from the game leaving just the setting and the burp/fart jokes and nobody would notice the difference.
That would vastly improve BL3. Game of the Year right there.
On that note, some of the enemies are pretty funny, like the psycho who gets locked in a pay toilet and scams you into helping him. And the boss you're supposed to shoot in the butt to get a gun that does extra damage to butts. It's called, imaginatively, Butt Plug. I suppose you could call this kind of thing high Borderlands wit.
