Oil rendering PSA
I'm not an aircraft modeler, but I admire people who are. Most particularly, I like Matt McDougall of
Doog's Models
and, of course, the ever-impressive
Will Pattison
.
Recently, Pattison has been going over how to weather WW2 aircraft using oil paint rendering, a set of techniques popularized by Mike Rinaldi, a big tank model guru. These sessions are very instructive, and you may consider them required viewing. Expect a test.
