I'm watching The Alligator People, which is not a reality show about inbreds hunting alligators. It's a movie about well-intentioned mad science gone wrong. Did you ever notice that every mad scientist begins with good intentions? The law of averages suggests that some projects actually end up benefitting humankind instead of turning them into cat men or clones of Marlon Brando Fat Version.
