Hawks is turning into one of my favorite directors. He was really imaginative and versatile. Three movies:

Rio Bravo
The Thing (1951)
All done by Howard Hawks -- all great. Charles Nyby is credited as the director of The Thing, but it was really Hawks doing most of the heavy lifting.
