heres what i know..
they make it very obvious. they are not fast flyers and they do their thing very close to you while you are sleeping and make no meaningful attempt to escape. but, they are also very observant of whatever it is you are observing and they know how to avoid whatever it is you are looking at or actually thinking about. literally not making this shit up.
the first one i caught several years back, it knew exactly how to avoid making face contact with me. and it would fucking avoid my thought process, like fucking bypass it. like distract and disappear. but its more than just the way it moved around in the jar and use the lid and or the bending of light from the bent glass as cover.. its too much effort for me to meticulously detail their exact behavior
