fyi the most terrifying sound of nature is how the earth moans during an earthquake. when conditions are right, it produces some kind of frequency or tone which is totally impossible to reproduce and totally amazing in horror

its one of the most unique experiences of earth.

u cant hear it tho unless you really pay attention and nobody ever is during one of those
