The daughters were always blonde, but they had satellite brunettes who got into horrible trouble -- babies out of wedlock, car accidents, and ill conceived careers as vamp singers in gambling dens. Look for Suzanne Pleshette, Dianne Baker, et al. Do not look for Natalie Wood. I don't think she had a supporting role in all her life.
