stella dallas on the otherhand is becomming more than just watchable. it unfolds with perfect A+ classiness.
the tone of her daughter, that trailing tone of mannered female voice, along with that supreme classic symphonic music during the happy moments of the story. its divine
it takes the right actors and the right music and the right cinematography to all come together and make it perfect. its just so unique. and a good number of films from those days do this too. they are the best
