The timing of the release of OMD3 was strange. Soon after Unchained was abandoned there it was. There was really no discussion or announcement that they were even making OMD3.
I played a lot of Unchained and I can tell you that they just slightly raised trap damage which was even weaker in Unchained. Took out the lame multiplayer BS they failed at implementing. And released it as OMD3.
I'm still enjoying it but I am expecting a patch at some point or the DLC is going to change everything. Or OMD4. Or QuakeLive 2
