Subject: RE: days of heaven 1978

the film needs more sheds filled with don lemmon

anyway, days of heaven was a treat.
the nay sayers on imdb have it all wrong. the film is an exhibition of cinematography itself, like a picture book, or more like a roving art gallery. the actors are merely placeholders and are not obstructive to any of it. those nayers dont understand what the film actually is, or the experience intended, theres no room for criticism at all, it really is that good, if not the actual best film in "cinematography" (whatever the hell that term actually means).

its really better than anything else in capturing artistic moments in scenery and natural beauty. other films only momentarily do what this film does regularly, its quite an accomplishment. i would even say this film is something which sets examples for many others after it
