the film was edited to be something visual, some sacrifices were made to story, but not really. when you look closely at how its put together you really notice how complex it is. its a lot to explain, too much for here. its not a sacrifice.
i suppose people dont like richard gere or someshit. how clean he always is rather than being dirty like all the others. its not really out of place though, not when you go into a film and leave behind that whopping sack of shit which are your own expectations.
