skyrim update
i used to hate doing the dragonborn quests, because they were tedious.
no more.
absolutely raked the entire soul plane of everything within a relatively short period. nothing was spared, not even juibs opus. i went over that plane like locust.
and the ideal masters? nowhere to be seen.
but i blew their tower puppets all over the place with dragon shouts and jumped down after them. haha, it was fun
it was fun because the game is fun. the balance of difficulty and the enemy scaling mods are just right. i seem to get somewhat better at perfecting this each playthrough. though still room for improvement, but not much. its quite good as it is right now. no adjustments of difficulty since new game.
1h sword combat is flippin furious up in this. i cant imagine doing anything else as main form of combat.
the difficulty (which is simply 3x damage given and received) is fully compatible with a proper run of getting the dawnbreaker aword early (as the devs intended), and having ring, gauntlets and boots enchanted with 1h damage. the exp rate of light armor is also on point, scaling perfect.
combat is no joke. you cant let your guard down on any creature other than something lesser like a skeever or baby spider. though it is by no means exceedingly difficult, yes im really impressed how its balanced this way.
this game is quite good, one of the best of all time. ive never really examined the scope of it all before, not in my current capacity. its quite phenomenal.
it is a real treat
