almost terrible
the first 3 bond films which are the best rated classic bond films are pretty bad. of course i was expecting them to be good, but they are not.
not indeed.
they seem to struggle with identity crisis. caught between an action fantasy and reality. its a damn shame, it could have been much better.
sean connery is hideous. he looks like an italian ape. its very bad. people used to take him seriously. though he did age very very well, much better than his roles in these older films. gosh i had paused the second bond film, from russia with love 1963, during the boat chase towards the end. i couldnt believe what i was looking at. humorously terrible.
so much better looking in the 80s and 90s. old connery is top material. really above all. young connery however, is like a bulgarian gypsy pimp
