RE: I just saw Godzilla vs. Kong
It's a tedious goulash of overused elements: superhero clichés, professional wrestling pseudo-drama, children showing dumb adults how it's done, women showing dumb men how it's done, lots of slo-mo CG money shots, and the usual impossibly stupid plot written by inexperienced in-crowd nerds.
Why can't these people do something interesting with their X00 million dollar budgets? Why not do a Honeymooners remake with a kaiju cast? Or dress Kong and Godzilla up as Jessica Fletcher and Miss Marple and have them solve a mystery? These people have no imagination, no class.
